To transform lives by providing humanitarian aid, strengthening community resilience, and empowering individuals with the tools and opportunities they need to thrive—regardless of their background, status, or circumstance.
What We Do
At the heart of our work is a commitment to holistic care and empowerment, ensuring that those we serve are not just helped, but truly supported in reclaiming their future. Our key areas of focus include:
- Humanitarian Aid: We respond swiftly and effectively to crises—natural disasters, food insecurity, displacement, and economic hardship—providing emergency relief such as food, shelter, medical assistance, and clean water.
- Community Support Programs: We work closely with local leaders and stakeholders to design and implement programs that address specific needs, from youth mentorship and skills training to women’s empowerment and education.
- Empowerment Initiatives: We believe in building long-term solutions. Through microgrants, vocational training, access to healthcare, and psychosocial support, we equip individuals and families with the resources they need to break the cycle of poverty and dependency.

Our Team
Led by a dedicated group of leaders and professionals with a heart for service:
- Richmond, CEO – Provides visionary leadership and strategic direction, ensuring that the foundation’s mission is carried out with excellence and impact.
- Peter, Director – Oversees operations and program development, ensuring the foundation’s initiatives are responsive, effective, and sustainable.
- Edward, Deputy Manager – Supports management functions and plays a critical role in the implementation of outreach and support efforts.
- Linda, Secretary – Manages administrative affairs, communication, and internal coordination to keep the foundation running smoothly.
- Obed, Organizer – Plans and executes events, outreach missions, and community activities that connect the foundation with those in need.
- Edmond, Innovation & Engagement Lead – Develops creative approaches and community engagement strategies that enhance our reach and deepen our impact.
Where We Work
The Kiva Foundation operates both locally, focusing on areas with the greatest need. We are active in underserved rural communities, urban slums, refugee settlements, and post-crisis regions—bringing light to some of the world’s most overlooked corners.

Humanitarian Relief & Emergency Aid

In times of crisis—whether caused by natural disasters, conflict, or economic hardship—The Kiva Foundation delivers immediate life-saving support. Our relief efforts include distributing food, clean water, medical supplies, clothing, and temporary shelter to individuals and families in distress. We work with local partners to ensure rapid, culturally sensitive, and effective response, with the goal of stabilizing lives and laying the foundation for long-term recovery.
Community Development & Support Programs
